Master 10 visual concepts and a simple 2-part process and take your work to the next level. Nick will be accompanied by Vix Brown, a stained-glass artist and experienced art teacher.
“At last oil painting is starting to make sense, thanks to Nick's thoughtful, enthusiastic and friendly teaching style. It feels like he is handing me the building blocks to progress to the next stage in my artistic development." Julie Kay, Edgbaston
“When Nick first suggested a painting holiday, I had no idea what to expect, but I had been attending his classes and had done several of his workshops, so I knew his level of commitment to his students was high. He didn’t let me down and the place was perfect. Vix was such good fun, and as a practising glass artist and experienced art teacher herself, she greatly enhanced the overall experience. Nick led each day. As usual he was professional, kind, patient and generous. He led us through the concepts of painting, drawing etc showing us ideas and techniques that have been used by artists over the years. This way of teaching allows you to try and emulate but more importantly gives you the scope to develop your own style. This is not painting by numbers, his teaching style truly allows you to understand how to put paint onto a surface and produce a piece of work that can be recognised as your own interpretation of a subject. The whole experience was excellent and I am certainly planning for 2020!” Kim Taylor, Solihull
